Santiago Rodríguez Olazábal is a Cuban artist born in Havana in 1955. His work is strongly connected to Afro-Cuban spirituality, Santería, Yoruba traditions, and ritual symbolism. Through painting, drawing, and mixed media, he creates layered works that explore identity, religion, memory, and Cuban cultural heritage. He became known in the Cuban contemporary art scene during the 1980s and is also recognized as a priest of Ifá.
